Blue Fans Maya Linen Maxi Dress

Woven in 100% pure linen, the Maya carries Stilelibero's Blue Fans print in deep navy and cobalt waves rippling across a pale, soft grey ground, like light moving across water or shadows caught mid-motion. Linen holds a print differently to silk; there's more texture, more grain, so the pattern feels a little rawer and more painterly here than it does elsewhere in the collection.

The shape is loose and voluminous, gathered softly at a round neckline and held up by slender straps, with a single button closing the back. It's a dress built to fall away from the body rather than follow it, which is exactly what makes linen this weight so easy to live in through a hot afternoon — there's air moving around you, not fabric clinging to you.

Wear it as it comes for something completely relaxed, the kind of dress you throw on barefoot and forget about. Or add a belt at the waist and the whole silhouette changes — suddenly there's shape and structure, something you'd wear to dinner rather than the beach. Flat sandals and bare skin in the day, gold jewellery and heeled sandals once the sun goes down; the Maya moves between both without any real effort.

Linen, this light packs into nothing and only gets better with wear, so it's as much a piece for the villa or the boat as it is for coming home creased from the airport and pulling it straight on.
